If you want to get into volunteering, training, college or apprenticeships, check out M-EET Your Match website!

M-EET Your Match has an online list of opportunities (volunteering, educational courses, work placements, life and employment skills courses, and Level 2 apprenticeships) for young people who live in Manchester (although opportunities are also available to young people in Oldham, Tameside and Rochdale – we checked!)

If you find something you’re interested in you can click and register directly with the organisers who will then contact you. You can also find out more information about preparing for interviews, writing your CV and support organisations. This service is provided by Manchester City Council, for residents of the City of Manchester who are aged 16-24.

Maximise your chances of getting an apprenticeship: register with some training providers!

Training providers (often colleges or smaller training centres) offer the qualification element of an apprenticeship. They also liaise with employers to generate apprenticeship vacancies. If you are registered with a training provider, they will put your CV forward for any vacancies they think you are suitable for so it makes sense to make contact with a few. You might have to have an interview, and do some maths and English assessments, but once they know you are an excellent candidate, they will start trying to get you an interview. Have a look at the list below for some local training providers – why not contact one (or more) today? Please note, this is not an exhaustive list – you can find even more by searching the internet.
