Managing My Digital Life
Technology addiction is a growing problem with young people losing vital sleep and becoming socially isolated. Our sessions help students to recognise problems with their digital usage and make a plan to reduce it - including the over use of social media and the impact that this can have on their emotional health and wellbeing. The sleep session explores myths around sleep, it includes the completion of a self-assessment tool, and support how to commit to some achievable changes. This aims to identify and improve current sleep patterns and to utilise technology and apps to help achieve a more healthy state of mind. We can also provide sessions for parents, helping them to support their children.
