The Role
We seek to recruit an enthusiastic and motivated Engagement Worker to work with children who are reported missing from home.
Through offering a return home interview, you will provide an opportunity for the child to discuss the reasons they went missing from home, the vulnerabilities they may have been exposed to and what can be done to protect them from going missing again, with a view to reducing the frequency of incidents and safeguard them from harm. Accurate and timely recording and sharing of information with a multi- agency team is key to this.
You would be expected to work from our Oldham office, home and out in the community.
If you are interested, please read the full job description and submit your application. For further information please contact Kelly Rennie via email to kellyrennie@positive-steps.org.uk
Positive Steps is an equal opportunities organisation and applications are welcome from all sections of the community.

You should therefore ensure that you have/will have the right to work in the UK to be able to undertake this role. If appointed, you will be required to provide relevant right to work documents at the point of an offer being made to you. This role is subject to a Standard DBS check.
