The Role
Join Our Team as a Careers Adviser and Make a Real Difference to Young People’s Futures
Are you passionate about helping young people unlock their potential and take confident steps toward their future? We’re looking for a qualified and experienced Careers Adviser to deliver impartial, high‑quality Careers Information, Advice and Guidance that truly transforms lives.
In this dynamic role, you’ll work with young people across a variety of settings—including schools, colleges, community hubs and virtual platforms—through impactful 1:1 support and inspiring small group sessions. You’ll play a key part in supporting young people to build the skills, knowledge and self-belief they need to thrive in their next stage of education, training or employment.
As a valued member of our Education and Guidance Services team, you will:
- Build meaningful, trust-based relationships with young people, including those facing significant barriers
- Empower them to make informed decisions and navigate successful transitions
- Develop strong partnerships with schools, colleges, employers and community organisations
- Deliver personalised guidance that promotes wellbeing, opportunity and long-term success
We’re looking for someone who is enthusiastic, innovative and committed. Your communication skills and empathy will be essential in supporting young people from diverse backgrounds and with a wide range of needs.
A Level 6 qualification in Careers Guidance and Development is essential for this role.
If you’re motivated by helping young people create brighter futures—and want to be part of a supportive, forward‑thinking team—we would love to hear from you.
We are recruiting for this role on a rolling basis, and we reserve the right to interview, appoint, and close this advert early due to the volume of applications. We advise applying as soon as possible.
