The Role
Do you love working with young people and want to make a real difference in their lives?
We’re looking for a confident, motivated individual to join our team as a Youth Engagement Worker. In this rewarding role, you’ll support young people to build confidence, develop essential skills, and take positive steps toward the next stage of their lives.
You’ll work collaboratively with Career Advisers, Coaches, and fellow Youth Engagement Workers, using creative and engaging approaches to connect with young people and help them achieve positive outcomes. A key part of the role is building strong, trusting relationships and communicating effectively with young people, many of whom may be facing significant challenges.
You’ll also play an important role in working towards targets and developing positive partnerships with schools, colleges, learning providers, employers, and other key stakeholders. The role involves travelling across Rochdale and Oldham, offering variety and the opportunity to work in different settings and communities.
