Our current offer involves supporting those in Education, Criminal justice, Family and Community and Safeguarding settings. The Role

Do you enjoy working with young people, and making a difference?

We are looking for a confident person to join our team as a Youth Engagement worker. You seek out, and provide support for young people aged 15 plus, providing them with confidence and skills to be successful in the next phase of their lives.

Support will include 1:1 and group work activities in community settings across Oldham and Rochdale. The Youth Engagement worker will work closely with Career Advisers and other Youth Engagement Workers to develop creative methods to engage and work with young people to help them to achieve positive outcomes. Vital to the job role, is the ability to relate to and communicate with our young people effectively, many of whom will be experiencing significant barriers. The role also includes working to targets and establishing good relationships with schools, colleges, learning providers, employers and key partners.

You would be expected to travel throughout Oldham and Rochdale and the role may include some home working.
