Oldham Youth Justice Service are working hard to reduce offending by children in the local area. To help us achieve our vision, we are seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated and committed Case Manager, who has experience of working with children in the field of criminal justice or safeguarding.

As a Case Manager, you will be responsible for holding a caseload of children open to Oldham Youth Justice Service who are subject to preventative interventions, Out of Court Disposals and Court Orders, with the aim of promoting desistence, minimising risk of harm, safeguarding and protecting the public. You will conduct statutory assessments, pre- sentence reports for court and deliver subsequent interventions to improve outcomes for children, in line with legislation, quality standards and best practice. Maintaining strong relationships with relevant partners will be key to this work.

The role is Hybrid so you would be expected to travel to Oldham and includes some home working.

We value hybrid working so you will be working from our central Oldham office, home, and out in the community.
