SHINE Project
We recognise the remarkable skills and resilience which Young Carers develop in their roles. The SHINE project enables Young Carers aged over 14 to use their caring experience and knowledge to help support and mentor other Young Carers, accessing the service. SHINE mentors have the opportunity to further develop their skills and gain qualifications and accreditations. Taking part in the SHINE project gives Young Carers a platform to influence the service we provide, have access to careers guidance to support them to achieve careers goals, alongside activities and sessions to improve their physical and mental well-being. This project is funded by BBC Children in Need.
