One of the most decorated paralympic athletes visited Positive Cycles alongside TGFM on Tuesday 27 June and it was a pleasure for us to have her and show her around. Sarah was very impressed with our building and our cycling workshop, she was mostly conversating with Andy Mitsi, (Positive Cycles Assistant) and Ethan Thrussel, (Apprentice Youth Engagement Worker). They both went into detail on how they are helping push the initiative forward and assisting the community through the bike hiring scheme and referrals. Positive Steps CEO – Paul Axon and Martin Sutton (Corporate Services Lead) were also there to assist and give her more information on our Positive Cycles shop, the workshop and the community outreach involved.
Since the trip, Sarah has reached out and wants more information and possibly wants TGFM and Positive Cycles to explore a further relationship in the foreseeable future.
