What are ISO 27001 and ISO 9001, and why are they important?
ISO 27001 is the world’s best-known standard for Information Security Management Systems (ISMS). It defines requirements an ISMS must meet.
ISO 27001 helps us maintain the security of our data, becoming risk-aware putting in a system to manage risk and proactively identify and address weaknesses. Promoting a holistic approach to information security: vetting people, policies, and technology.
While ISO 9001 is a globally recognized standard for quality management. It helps us to improve our performance, meet customer expectations and demonstrate our commitment to quality. Implementing ISO 9001 means we have put in place effective processes and trained staff to deliver flawless services time after time.
An information security management system implemented according to this standard is a tool for Risk Management, Cyber-resilience and Operational Excellence.
Our Journey to Certification
Achieving these two certifications took great effort, commitment and involvement from all areas of the Positive Steps team. We were independently audited over a number of weeks and the auditor scrutinised every aspect of our business, overall the auditors were extremely happy with how we operate and we passed with flying colours.

This certification is our seal of approval, awarded to us by an independent auditor and provides peace of mind to anyone who works with us.
