‘Empower Oldham’ and ‘Engaging Rochdale’ are new projects aimed at connecting with young people who are currently Not in Education, Employment or Training (NEET). The tailored provision will include mentoring, wellbeing support and practical solutions, to build confidence, resilience and motivation. Support will be creative and will focus on removing barriers and learning new skills, helping young people on their journey towards learning and employment.
We can work with young people aged 16-19 (or up to age 21 if care experienced and up to 25 with an EHCP). Young people aged 15+ who are at significant risk of becoming NEET may also eligible for support.
‘Empower Oldham’ and ‘Engaging Rochdale’ are supported by Oldham Local Authority and Rochdale Local Authority, respectively. We are delighted to be working in partnership to deliver this much needed support to local young people.

Hi Caroline,
You can fill out the form on the contact us page and our team will be in touch. Alternatively, you can and the young male can come to our weekly careers drop in at our Oldham office, these are every Thursday from 2pm till 6pm. Here, you can speak to our career advisers and Empower Oldham team about next steps.
Hope this helps!
